ABOUT US

QCMC HISTORY

In 2007, a diverse group of African American women residing in the Charlotte area began meeting and tenaciously working toward the goal of joining the ranks of the esteemed women of “The National Coalition of 100 Black Women”. Many months of hard work and patience culminated in an elegant installation ceremony for forty
enthusiastic, service-driven women on
September 20, 2009. The Chapter became a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in 2011.  Through advocacy, partnerships and other networks the chapter is fulfilling its’ mission and continues to promote leadership, service and sisterhood as the foundation for ongoing success of the organization.
